Having a home certified as Energy Star demonstrates a commitment to high quality product and building practices. At BEACON, we guide builders through the entire process. From initial consultation to issuing your Energy Star certificate, we'll provide you the information you need to achieve this exclusive recognition. Additionally, homes certified by Energy Star are eligible for tax credits. These credits can be incredibly valuable when planning you next multifamily project. With amounts available up to $5000 for every unit, Energy Star rebate can create an additional revenue source for your next project!
RESNET Energy Rating
A RESNET HERS Energy Rating is a home energy usage analysis. By modeling the insulation, windows, HVAC systems and appliances in a home, we can compare that home to a specific reference home and tell you how much more or less efficient it is. Especially for new home builders, you'll have documentation on how well your homes are expected to perform and how much money your clients are likely to save, creating a value add for your projects.
